In response to my first inspirational artist I produced my own artwork in the style of Katie Degroot. The above image is the piece of artwork that I produced in response to Katie Degroot. Before I began work on the piece I felt that through successful experimentation and presentation in my sketchbook, I wanted to transfer these skills onto a larger piece because the crisp, coffee stained backgrounds and earthy colours within my sketchbook suited the style of my artist and topic I was concentrating my studies on, also I wanted a response piece to reflect and coordinate the skills that consisted within my sketchbook.
